Lee has written a new piece on doctoral ed (also attached below) for the Chronicle and has also invited CPED members "to think about the sense that a degree can be both scholarly and
professional and still be faithful to both purposes"

CPED has an office! Because CPED keeps growing, the University of Maryland has given us an office. The office serves as a space for coordinating and planning all aspects of the CPED initiative, and houses the project's director, David Imig, and the program director, Jill Perry.
